1. Information we collect

Account information: when you sign in with Google, Google provides us your name, email address and profile photo URL. We never receive your Google password.

Information you give us: the name, email, phone number and message you enter in the contact form.

Designer data: plans you create in the home designer are stored in your own browser by default. They are uploaded to our servers and linked to your account only when you choose to save to the cloud.

Technical information: server logs record access time, IP address and browser type, used for security and troubleshooting.

2. How we use it

To operate and maintain the website, the home designer and the customer portal;

To respond to your enquiries, prepare preliminary estimates and arrange site conversations;

To keep accounts and the service secure, and to detect and prevent abuse;

With your consent, to send you project updates or service notices.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for any third party to market independently.

4. Who we share it with

To run the service we pass the minimum necessary data to: Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting and database, United States), Google LLC (Google sign-in) and Amazon Simple Email Service (sign-in links and notification email).

We may disclose information where legally required, or where necessary to protect the rights and safety of you, of us or of the public.

5. Cookies and browser storage

After you sign in we set a session cookie to keep you signed in. This is strictly necessary for the service to work.

The home designer uses your browser localStorage to hold plan drafts. That data stays on your device and is not uploaded automatically.

We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Data retention

Account information is kept for as long as your account exists. You may ask us to delete your account and its associated data at any time.

Contact form submissions are normally kept for 24 months as a record of correspondence.

7. Your rights as a California resident

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA, California residents may request to know the categories and purposes of personal information we collect, to access a copy, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — which we do not do.

You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within 45 days.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, the database is encrypted at rest, and internal access is limited to people who need it for the work.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and will delete it if we find it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on this page and the last-updated date above will change.
